Seven new recoveries from the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) were recorded in San Jose del Monte City, on Thursday, July 23.

In a facebook post, the CSJDM Public Information Officed (PIO) announced the recovery of patients # 98, #19, and #140 from Brgy. Dulong Bayan; patient #118 from Brgy. San Pedro; patients # 131 and #132 from Brgy. Poblacion I; and patient #142 from Brgy. Tungkong Mangga.

These brought the total number of recoveries to 103.

As of posting, CSJDM has 239 confirmed cases with 13 deaths and 130 active cases.

The city recorded the highest number of cases in the province of Bulacan.

In an interview with Ronda Balita on July 20, Gov. Daniel Fernando said that the provincial Inter- Agency Task Force is coming up with a zonal lockdown in an effort to control the spread of the virus.

Meanwhile, the total number of covid-19 cases int the country is already at 72, 269 with 23, 623 recoveries and 1,843 fatalities.
